I usually don’t post saturdays but you know usually (last saturday she did a sketch instead). Its this easy to put up thing with someones wierd quote. This is one I did not hear and Im hoping some folks know where it came from and can explain. Because it sounds like someone is saying if a time traveler went to assasinate hitler they would like to be a time traveler and rescue him and then bro out with hitler about it?
Anyone else not like these kinds of parties as kids? Granted I was the introverted kid so it was just so uncomfortable when I was not really friends with the main birthday kid or really any of the kids. I guess it was good training for work events as an adult though.
I got nothing for this. No idea how I would convince kids to take a bath. When I was young I did babysit but the kids were old enough that it was like. Hey. Go take your bath.
I feel this one so much. Somone had a post about how can be solidarity with class when so many folks don’t want them to exist. I assume they were saying they are lgtbq+ or such and like hyper hypocrite religious types on the other side. Thing is its the hyper wealthy who allow for them to get their way. Yeah they are stupid and easily manipulated but at the same time their main function is to redirect ire. Then all the time I want ice to arrest and deport themselves. My reasoning is the constitution is literally the country. Our laws and society is based on it and it must be followed. If you don’t follow its laws you renounce the constitution. If you renounce the constitution you renounce your citizenship. Since ice has ignored the constitution they effectively are not citizens and should be removed from the country.
Speaking of the lack of shame I noticed it was effective in that ice article a few weeks back and personally I have seen it be effective with a trump heckler at a protest. So I think somewhere deep down they recognize the shame.
Its funny because Im was sorta wondering where she stood on religion. I think she comes from a family associated with one of the less severe peace church’s but I can’t explain why earlier comics made me feel that with her mom and family. My memory is sorta wierd and I will remember what I synthesize over details often unless I rote memorize which is really hard for me. Anyway she also had jesus regularly in the strip along with her devil and angel and all those go way back. Mostly jesus was upset at christian hypocrasy. He did sorta disapear and there have been some comics and this one in particular where I think she made the change from christian to agnostic to athiest. I wonder because personally I was raised catholic and can’t say I ever believed at an adult cognitive level as I was agnostic by high school. Stayed that way a real long time but in the modern age I have just seen so much of people believing all sorts of made up crazy things people peddle that it was the final nail in the coffin where I just could not give religion the benefit of the doubt. Keep in mind before that there is the fact that the more recent a religion the more you can actually point to historical inaccuracies and its only the ones that are old enough where there is not enough records that you don’t have anything definitive. Anyway. Good for her and her family.
Not sure why she would think that because the comic even with the two year I think the kid was born before covid. Seems like they had the one before and the other was born just as covid was becoming a thing a year or so apart so the elder should still be in the single digits. My guess is as her oldest gets older she is gearing up for how she will handle it perfectly.
This type of thing goes through my head constantly. Im kinda surprised trump is even trying to hide epstein given how well just breaking laws and being openly corrupt has been for him/they/them.

Im one of those people that really appreciates the folks that put up the simple fall harvest type decorations for thanksgiving. I really don’t like christmass before thanksgiving is over or Halloween decorations outside of october. No holiday, no matter how nice, is fun for over a month.
I often wonder what the heck training they get. From what I can tell is prioritize children and clergy first with your pepperballs and tear gas. An interesting thing is I have posted before some questions on the usajobs site and one of them is to talk about the constitution. Im hoping in trials it can come up if they try the I did not understand self defense.
I remember when I was young and most all food was bland and something listed as mild had nothing but salt. Something spicy was milder than something marked mild nowadays. Culinary wise it was a hell hole.
Job requirements might have made more sense when you could roll into a fast food place and fill out and application and 100% got the job. If its required to work then the government should be required to get you a job you can walk to.
I honestly really don’t get the idea of going after enemies. I mean sure you will here me complain about maga and republicans but they are specifically circumventing the rules our society is based on. Its not personal but their leadership essentially cheats. I always wonder about ones like these. Some are obviously maginations by her but then ones like this might actually have come about by them seeing the shirt and maybe even having a bit of convo around it which became this idealized one.
If there is such thing as heaven and hell I feel it would be two places that are exactly the same and much like earth but the population is split up such that you exist with people like yourself morality wise. So all the racists get to live together and all the ones who just want to live and let live in a fair and equitable society are together and such.
This reminds me that I had an interview yesterday and the recruiter wanted me to wear a suit and im desperate enough that I did. Feel like such a corpo rat.
My only complaint is making the crowd sizes the same. The most I have seen doing a trump one is three. I often say I like to see the “counter” protesters as it shows how small (and quite frankly pathetic) that group is. Also cracks me up with the all the talk about how dangerous no kings2 would be especially in dangerous chicago that 3 maga folks felt safe having their flags while over 100k of nokings protestors rallied around them.
This effect is even bigger when you don’t have kids. I have a niece who went to college and became a dentist and has a kid of her own that is likely about the age of what I remember her being.
Does feel this way a lot of times. I would really love to live in a society where charities were mostly for external or niche things because taxes were collected and used to make sure everyone had the basics.
The rollover comment mentions they learn it from bluey which is kinda funny. I mean its just substitutes for cursing but the meaning is the same in terms of what they want to get across. I have been watching the good place recently where the mechanics of the area won’t let them swear so the character says something like fork this shirt. If the intended meaning is the same what does it matter. Now im thinking about roses by other names.
I avoid wearing my winter coat as long as I can in fall and avoid not wearing it as long as possible in the spring because I hate moving back and forth between jacket types.
I sorta feel this way. I often have as an aside to a shutdown post that I would be fine with it shutdown for years. Yeah I get what it would mean but we have federal forces attacking our citizenry. I don’t see any reason to keep a government like that open.
so one of the cm002 alts posted the weekend ones so I held off to see if they were posting of their own volition. It was almost as if they were sentient. It was weird. Anyway they did not post mondays on their own. Who knows maybe someone else did the weekend and I only saw those. Ill find out as I block them as I have done the others. Anyway I do love my fen.

So I guess I did not post yesterday. I swear I had and I thought I had a whole musing but now I find I had not. Im thinking I may have killed the window without submitting.
I have never encountered the weird religious types who see holloween as bad. I mean do they do the same with christmass in regard to the tree and mistletoe and such. Like 90% of it is pagan.
Its funny because I saw some comments around this story where people were trying to figure out why tylenol. If it is the case it seems sorta stupid as most people I know prefer ibuprofen over acetaminophen and those who don't still would go to ibuprofen as a secondary. Heck im more inclined to do naproxen now for the longer lasting effect.

There have been regular signs of getting rid of their gas car. Their cras have shown up between her first car which she had painted all kinds of things all over and I think someone bought it for that. At one point I think they had two cars and one was a hybrid but they got the electric used and I think the subaru was the family thing but they don't need all the things they did with a baby and toddler as opposed to I think one coming out of toddlerhood and the other going to young adult. I guess the big question is will they go for a used electric like before or a new one or just stop having two cars. I think were they live does not need a car as much so its possible they can go univehicle. I mean the comic suggests they use it so little the battery got to low.
Its funny to me as I just found out about the rapture day thing yesterday from here. If I was busier yesterday I might have looked at the comic and been like. What the heck is this about?
